Diet Merry-Go-Round

We all know the fun we used to have as kids whenever we had the chance to get on the merry-go-round! Round and Round, Up and Down, and OH! The disappointment when we had to get off!
Now it seems we are stuck on that merry-go-round and just cannot seem to get off no matter how hard we try!

I know how hard it can hard it can be to get off that damn thing, really get the hang of healthy eating and living a healthy lifestyle. For years I struggled with being stuck, chasing every fad diet, every new diet shake, diet pill and even making myself vomit after "bad" meals! I knew this had to stop, it wasn't healthy, I wanted to live a normal life and not count calories or be on a diet forever, always stressing about if the food is good or bad. Life is stressful enough without having to worry about the food I was eating as well.
On top of the diet Merry-Go-Round I was smoking at least 2 packs of 30 tailor made cigarette's a week, drinking - a lot - almost every day, super stressed and only exercising enough to be able to say I had done a workout.
Every morning I would wake up with good intentions, but by lunchtime those had disappeared along with half my smoke packet. I have always had an interest in exercise so when the opportunity arose I decided to become a Personal Trainer, not only to help myself get off the merry-go-round but to learn how I could help others to do the same.
Fast forward to today . . . . My food intake and exercise routine is 100 times better than what it was back then, I still have hard days or weeks when my eating and exercise aren't as great as I would like, but we are only human and we cannot be perfect all the time! Bit of a confession, so far this year my eating and exercise haven't been as good as I would like. I got a little lost and have been trying to find myself, trying to figure out exactly what is it I want to do and how I want to do it, because of that my schedule got a bit of a shake up last week and I have fully committed myself to being a Nutrition Coach!
Food is the foundation, food is fuel and exercise without the right fuel is almost pointless.
