Who Am I?

Who am I? What is Fired Up Health & Fitness all about and what is Fired Up Healthy Living?


Now that we are fresh into a new year I thought it would be a great time to introduce myself properly to all of you amazing people who have chosen to follow me.


Last year was a tricky one, I was still trying to find my spark, my ah-ha moment, my 'thing', I am so happy to say that with the help of the amazing @Faye Hollands I have now been able to find that spark and that 'thing' that gets me excited every single day!


So .... Who am I?

My name is Lisa Warrington and I am a Mum to 5 amazing boys, have moved from Auckland to Tinopai, in the Kaipara Harbour, then back to Auckland again, trying all these different 'things' I thought I wanted to do. My jobs have included, Café Assistant, Receptionist, Dairy & Takeaways owner, Rural Post Contractor and now I have finally settled as a Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach.

I like to call myself a Coach, Cheerleader and Mentor though because I am not here to tell you what to do, or stand over you like a drill sergeant, I am here to help guide you, to teach you and to be your cheerleader along your journey to healthy living.


I have been on a healthy eating/weight-loss journey for about 15 years only ever reaching my goal once in that time and only ever needing to lose between 8-12 kgs, so I have never been seriously overweight but have struggled terribly with food choices and motivation to exercise which in turn has motivated me to learn how I can help ladies like myself kick those bad habits to create a new sustainable relationship with food and fitness.

This is where Fired Up Health & Fitness was born, I am here to help all of you lovely ladies who are feeling overwhelmed, tired, stressed and who are sick of diets to start living healthy lives, to live a life full of energy, a life where you can run around with your kids and eventually grand-kids without getting breathless. I am here to be your Coach, Cheerleader and Mentor through the good and the bad times, the easy days and hard days - because we all know there will be some! This is also where Fired Up Healthy Living comes into play, I want to share the love, knowledge, support and comfort of a community group where we are all on similar journey's supporting each other.

This year I am here to help busy mums who have just had enough of the ' I'm starting my diet on Monday ' or feeling sick, bloated and just plain unhealthy.


The biggest questions though . . . HOW can I help you and what will we do?

I will provide you with a personalised nutrition coaching program based on your goals, wants and needs, fully customisable to adapt to your lifestyle, whatever that may be - vegetarian, vegan, or if your like myself and just love all types of food.


We will start off with a coaching call to really dig deep and set some great foundations to begin with, then we will put together a simple nutrition plan that you will be able to stick to which will help you to make better food choices to build your confidence, help you sleep better and give you a energy boost!
